Oxnard Police Department – Incident Press Release
On 5/11/19, at about 7:29 a.m., a 23-year-old male flagged down a patrol officer near San Mateo and El Dorado Avenue and reported he was riding his bicycle when he was shot at by the driver of an SUV. The victim was not struck by the gunfire. At approximately the same time, the Police Department received several calls of shots fired in the 2300 block of Dupont Street. Investigating officers on scene recovered evidence of a shooting in the 2300 block of Dupont Street. The suspect vehicle is believed to be a white compact sport utility vehicle. An investigation is continuing.
