Ventura Police Department – Incident Press Release
On April 20 at 8:41 Ventura Police Department Command Center started receiving numerous 911 calls of shots heard in the area of Johnson Dr. and Ralston St. While officers were investigating, physical evidence was found in the parking lot of Montalvo Little League Field that a shooting did occur. A short time later, a victim called to report that his vehicle was struck by a bullet as he was driving past the baseball field. He also reported seeing a dark colored vehicle in the parking lot at the time of the shooting.
No one was injured as a result of the shooting.
