    Shooting Incident in Ventura

    Ventura Police Department – Incident Press Release

    On July 27th at 9:24 AM the Ventura Police Department Command Center received multiple 911 calls of shots being fired from an unknown make sedan at Cabrillo Village in the 1500 block of

    Saticoy Ave. Officers responded and located the owner of a vehicle who reported the suspect(s) shot at him and hit his vehicle, which was parked in front of his residence. The victim was not injured in the shooting.

    Officers also located a nearby residence that had a rear window struck by a bullet. No one inside the residence was injured.

    There is no suspect information at this time. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to contact the Ventura Police Department at 339-4416. An anonymous tip can be made by calling Crime Stoppers at (800) 222-TIPS.
