Simi Valley Police Department – Incident Press Release
On February 5th, 2020 at approximately 1:20 pm, an unidentified male subject entered the Vons Supermarket, located at 2938 Tapo Canyon Road. The Suspect walked to the pharmacy department and provided the pharmacist a note, which stated he was robbing the location. The note further stated the Suspect wanted an amount of pills or he would stab them. A few moments later, the Suspect fled the location and was last seen running towards Tapo Canyon Road. The Suspect did not receive any of the requested pills and no weapons were seen during this Attempted Robbery.
