Simi Police arrest 26 year old man for sex crimes against a juvenile

dosage times; font-size: 14pt;”>On  Tuesday, look 09-09-14, Simi Valley Police Detectives arrested Corey Ackerman, 26, of Simi Valley for numerous sex crimes involving a female juvenile victim, as well as possession of child pornography and extortion. He was booked for multiple offenses at the Ventura County Main Jail.

Detectives uncovered a pattern of conduct whereby Ackerman would engage in sexual activity with females, and after the relationship ended, he would then make threats in an attempt to get them to participate in further sexual encounters with him.

Two victims have been identified, dating back to 2012. The Police Department is releasing this information in the event that additional victims exist and wish to come forward. Anyone with information related to Ackerman is asked to contact Simi Valley Police Detective Brian Young at (805) 583-6248.
