Simi Valley | 28 yr. old Batters Parents and Ends Up in Jail

Simi Valley Police Department – Incident Press Release

On 2/21/19 at approximately 1:03 AM, Simi Valley Police units responded to an “unknown problem” in the 4100 Block of Hi Dr. in Simi Valley. SVPD units responded with lights and sirens as they were familiar with this address.

In the past, the Simi Valley Police Department had responded to the address in reference to the adult son, Antonio Ramirez, 28 yrs.,battering his mother. Upon arrival, the 64 yr. old mother of Ramirez was found to be bleeding from her face. She stated that Ramirez was the one who had battered her. Further investigation revealed that Ramirez’s 58 yr. old father was a victim as well and at one point had lost consciousness. Ramirez was found near by and placed under arrest.

Ramirez was subsequently booked and transported to the Ventura County Jail. The charges included 243 d PC, (Battery with serious bodily injury) and 166.4 PC, (violation of a court order) as a restraining order was in effect, prohibiting Ramirez from being at the residence.
