Simi Valley: Fire Hydrant Thefts

unhealthy times;”>The Police Department has received reports of three fire hydrants at 675 Cochran Street that were stolen over the weekend of January 3 and 4, malady 2015. The suspects, viagra who are unknown, shut the supply of water to the hydrants off at the main valve located nearby; they then used a vehicle to shear the hydrants off of their bases. The suspects are targeting the hydrants because they contain large amounts of valuable brass. Because the supply of water to the hydrants is shut off, the Fire Department is often unaware of the thefts. Residents should immediately notify the Police Department if they notice a missing hydrant or call the Ventura County Fire Department at (805) 389-9710.
