Daniel Livingstone (DOB 12/07/87), aka Dakota Livingstone, of Simi Valley, was sentenced on June 13, 2019, to 365 days in Ventura County jail, placed on five years of formal probation, and ordered to pay restitution, after pleading guilty to one count of grand theft, one count of oral copulation with a minor, and one count of furnishing a controlled substance to a minor. Based on the sex crime conviction, Livingstone must register as a sex offender pursuant to Penal Code section 290.
Livingstone pled guilty to these crimes in two separate felony cases on May 8, 2019. In the grand theft case, Livingstone stole more than $20,000 from an unsuspecting female, whom he had befriended and manipulated into buying him expensive items. In the oral copulation and furnishing to a minor case, Livingstone posed as a teenage male and groomed another teenage male into sexual activity, while furnishing him with Xanax.
The District Attorney’s Office is seeking the public’s help in identifying other potential victims of Livingstone. Livingstone is known to use an English accent. He seeks out single men and women, gains their trust, romances them, and then uses his relationship to convince his partners to buy him expensive items such as designer clothing, electronics, and other gifts. Livingstone claims these items are necessary to facilitate his careers in broadcasting, social media, music, reality television, and modeling/clothing design.
If you or someone you know has been a victim of this individual, please contact District Attorney Investigator Adam Delgado at (805) 477-1658.

So you can steal a huge sum of money (possibly someone’s entire life savings), dispense prescription medicine without said prescription, but what you have to register for is a consensual relationship with a person old enough to drive, work, be easily treated as an adult by the system and that would be legal most places in this country and the world.
