    Simi Valley | Occupied Stolen Vehicle Stop Leads to Arrest

    Simi Valley Police Department – Incident Press Release

    On May 15, 2020 at approximately 1923 Hours, a Simi Valley Police Officer observed a stolen vehicle travelling in the area of Los Angeles Ave and Tapo St.

    The vehicle, which was confirmed to have been stolen out of the City of Los Angeles, eventually stopped in the Walmart parking lot, which is located at 2204 Tapo St, at which point a high risk traffic stop was initiated.

    The vehicle was occupied by two subjects, both of whom were detained without incident. The driver, who was identified as Elvia Olguin, 52 YOA from the City of Los Angeles was arrested for Possession of a stolen vehicle and booked at Ventura County Jail.
