Simi Valley PD Narcs Jail Two More Heroin Dealers

advice times;”>On January 28, 2015, Narcotics Detectives from the Simi Valley Police Department’s Special Operations Unit received information regarding a subject who was actively selling heroin to customers in Simi Valley. Detectives located him in the 2000 block of Denny Street and contacted him as he was conducting a sale of heroin to a Simi Valley resident. Narcotics Detectives stopped the suspect and he was found to be in possession of 78 balloons filled with heroin totaling more than 1½ ounces. The suspect, Jesus Meza-Villasenor, 20 years of age from Los Angeles was arrested for 11351 H&S, Possession of a Controlled Substance for Sale, and 11352 H&S, Transportation of a Controlled Substance . He was booked and is currently being held at the Ventura County Main Jail in lieu of $50,000.00 bail.

Meza-Villasenor’s customer, Ryan Behr, 29 years old from Simi Valley, was arrested for Attempted Possession of a Controlled Substance. Under Proposition 47, this crime is now a misdemeanor. He was issued a citation and released.

On January 29, in an unrelated investigation, Narcotics Detectives from the Simi Valley Police Department’s Special Operations Unit completed a three week long investigation into the sales of heroin in the Simi and San Fernando Valleys. Narcotics Detectives and officers from the Special Enforcement Section served a search warrant in the 11000 block of Otsego Street in Valley Village, CA. The search warrant resulted in the arrest of Shane Brown, 21 years old who resides at the location. During the service of the warrant, Brown attempted to flee from officers. After a short foot pursuit, Brown was taken into custody. A small amount of heroin as well as evidence supporting drug sales was recovered from his residence. Brown was booked at the Main Jail in Ventura for 11351 H&S, Possession of a Controlled Substance for Sale, 11352 H&S, Sales of a Controlled Substance, and 148 PC, Obstruct, Resist or Delay an Officer’s Duties. He is being held in lieu of $55,000.00 bail.
