Simi Valley Police arrest suspect in string of residential burglaries

ask times;”>Beginning in June, check 2014, the Simi Valley Police Department’s Detective Unit began an investigation into several residential burglaries that occurred in the 4500 block of Apricot Road. The suspect in these crimes was eventually identified as 47 year-old Simi Valley resident, Teresa Housley.

On 11/20/14, a search warrant was served at Housley’s residence in the 2600 block of Kadota St. During the service of the warrant, property identified as being stolen in the burglaries was located. In addition, Detectives discovered $20,000.00 worth of jewelry which was taken in a burglary that occurred the previous night at a casino in Primm, Nevada.

Housley was booked into the Ventura County Jail for two counts of residential burglary and felony possession of stolen property.
