Simi Valley Police Department – Incident Press Release
On April 16, at about 12:30 pm, Simi Valley Police Officers went to the T-Mobile phone store located at 2272 Tapo Street to investigate a burglary.
When officers arrived, they learned that the suspect entered the business, engaged an employee in conversation, then grabbed a phone valued at $1000 and ran from the store. The suspect was last seen running northbound through the shopping center.
The suspect was described as Black male adult, slender build, about six feet tall. He was wearing a white mask, blue button up shirt over a white t-shirt, gray shorts and white Nike shoes.
