Simi Valley: Police pursuit results in arrest

patient times;”>On Wednesday December 10th, patient at about 8:48 P.M., officers from the Simi Valley Police Department were in the 5500 blk. of Katherine Rd. preparing to serve two felony (probation violation) arrest warrants at the home of a local probationer (Hulisses Robledo, 31 yrs.)

As the officers approached the residence, Robledo was pulling away in his pickup truck. The officers tried to make a traffic stop on the pickup and Robledo drove away at high rate of speed. A short pursuit ensued before Robledo arrived back at his home with the officers still in pursuit.

Robledo ran from the pickup and into the home. As the officers were setting up a perimeter around the house, Robledo exited on his own and was arrested without further incident.

Robledo was later booked into the Ventura County Jail on suspicion of recklessly evading the officers (2800 V.C.) and the two felony warrants for violating his probation.
