Simi Valley Police Seize Suitcase Full of Methamphetamine

On Thursday March 17, 2016 the Simi Valley Police Department’s Narcotics Unit working with a DEA Task Force conducted operations which led to the seizure of over 30 pounds of Crystal Meth.

The first and largest seizure took place in El Monte, CA where 22 year old Antonio Morales of Los Angeles,CA delivered a suitcase full of Methamphetamine during an undercover operation. Morales was arrested and booked for the drug charges as well as child endangerment. Morales had two children in the vehicle with him when the drug transaction occurred.

A follow-up investigation led to a second operation which took place in San Fernando, CA. 40 year old Jovan Segura of San Fernando, CA was intercepted by narcotics officers and 2 pounds of Crystal Meth were seized from his vehicle. Segura was also arrested and booked for the drug charges.
