On the afternoon of September 10th, at approximately 3:10pm, a Simi Valley Police Officer was on duty and alerted by his vehicle’s Lojack tracking unit that a recently stolen vehicle was in his area. While checking the neighborhood of Brower Street he observed the vehicle, a silver Acura TL attempting to leave the location. A pursuit was initiated and the vehicle later became disabled in the parking lot of 1109 First Street. The juvenile driver was arrested for Assault with a Deadly Weapon, Vehicle Theft and Felony Evading. He was later booked into Ventura County Juvenile Hall on the above listed charges.
