Simi Valley | Stolen Vehicle Pursuit Ends in Arrest

Simi Valley Police Department – Incident Press Release

On August 11, 2020, at approximately 7:29 PM, LAPD pursued a stolen vehicle into Simi Valley. The pursuit traversed the city and the suspect crashed the vehicle at the intersection of Cochran St and Yosemite Ave. No other motorists or pedestrians were involved in the collision.

LAPD arrested the suspect, Daniel Abisai Lopez, a 23 year old resident of North Hollywood. He was arrested for Grand Theft Auto and felony Evading.

The Simi Valley Police Traffic Unit responded for the collision investigation.
