Simi Valley Police Department – Incident Press Release
On January 23, 2021, Simi Valley Police Officers responded to the area of First St and Enchanted Way for a battery in progress. The officers contacted Michael Montero, a 41-year old resident of Fresno, who matched the suspect description. Montero provided a false name and resisted officers’ attempt to detain and identify him. He was arrested and booked at Ventura County Main Jail for Resisting/Obstructing a Police Officer and False Identification.
The Ventura County Sheriff’s Department is authorized to release the booking photo per their policy.
