Officers patrolling in the area of Cochran Street and Sycamore Drive observed a vehicle commit a Vehicle Code violation. The Officers conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle and upon providing the license plate number were informed that the vehicle had been reported stolen out of Burbank.

The subject, later identified as Kevin Reese, 38 years, out of Canoga Park, was arrested without incident. During a search incident to Reese’s arrest a quantity of methamphetamine, a smoking device, and a tool commonly used to commit vehicle burglaries were discovered.

Reese was booked at the East County Jail for 10851 VC, Vehicle Theft, 11377 H&S, Possession of a Controlled Substance, 11364 H&S, Possession of a Smoking Device, and 466 PC, Burglary Tools.
