All locations will continue to follow added health and safety measures, including face coverings and social distancing procedures, and some museum experiences like cafes and theaters may remain closed at this time. You can learn more about our commitment to health and safety, as well as further details about reopening, at si.edu/visit.
In addition, several museums will require timed visitor passes for entry. Timed passes will be available shortly before each museum’s scheduled reopening date.
We look forward to welcoming you back to experience all that the Smithsonian has to offer! Once again, I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to you for your ongoing support. Your support has been especially meaningful during a season of great uncertainty — and continues to make an impact as we reopen the Smithsonian to the world.
John Perell Director, Friends of the Smithsonian
