SOAR on November Ballot as MEASURE C
cost arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;”>The countywide SOAR campaign will be on the November ballot as Measure C. As we enter campaign season, we’re going to need to mount a huge effort to ensure that we have the resources to fend off a rival measure, Measure F (Sustain VC).
As was recently reported in the Ventura County Star, our opposition hired an Irvine-based consulting firm to collect the signatures necessary to place them on the ballot alongside SOAR. Their cost? $7/signature – more than $200,000! You can be sure that the big landholders and wealthy developers that supported their signature drive will do everything in their power to defeat us in November.
Our grassroots supporters have donated at every level, with average donations ranging from $100-500. As we launch our community-based fundraising effort, we encourage you to donate whatever you can to ensure Measure C’s victory in November.
