Ask yourself if more people have moved into Ventura County since the inception of SOAR. Then ask yourself how these people will be housed once all the land within, lets say Thousand Oaks, has filled the boundaries set by SOAR.

Well, the only way I can see this happen is if more projects like the mixed use, multi-story, plans for Thousand Oaks Blvd. are increased. Do you want to live in common wall housing that is intimately connected to businesses?

When considering the virtues of SOAR, maybe a future for your children where animals roam, but people are cramped into cubicle apartments isn’t what you’d prefer. After all, we currently live in detached wall communities by choice. That choice ultimately will be taken away from the future generations under the confines of SOAR.
