    Stabbing Leads to Man’s Death in Oxnard

    Oxnard Police Department Incident Press Release

    On March 14, 2019, at about 11:20 P.M., Oxnard Police Officers responded to a call of a stabbing victim in the 200 block of West Pleasant Valley Road. Witnesses stated that the victim was involved in an altercation with another male who produced a knife and stabbed the victim. The suspect then fled the scene.

    Upon arrival, officers and emergency medical services (EMS) located the 53 year old male victim suffering from multiple stab wounds. Unfortunately, the male victim succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.

    Major Crimes investigators responded to the scene and took over the investigation. This investigation is still on-going.

    Investigators are encouraging anyone who may have heard or seen anything to contact Detective Charles Buttell (805) 385-7688.   The City of Oxnard offers a reward of $10,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of any individuals responsible for committing homicides within the City.
