Star-studded Red Carpet Premiere at Egyptian Theater in the heart of Hollywood on April 6th

Los Angeles, CA March 22, 2016 – Indie film 30 Days With My Brother, directed by Michael May and starring Omar Mora and Adrián Núñez, will premiere on Wednesday, April 6th at the American Cinematheque’s historic Egyptian Theatre located at 6712 Hollywood Boulevard, Los Angeles, CA 90028.

The Hollywood premiere of 30 Days With My Brother is presented in collaboration with LatinoMediaVisions (LMV), an initiative designed to showcase and develop entrepreneurial Latino media-makers and in association with the American Cinematheque. The invitation-only event will kick-off with a star-studded Red Carpet starting at 6PM.  The screening of the web-series Tatooed Love begins at 7pm followed by the World Premiere of 30 Days With My Brother including a Q&A with filmmakers and cast to follow.  Guests will be invited to network at the after-party while enjoying spirits provided by the evening’s sponsor, Remy Martin.

Always the over-achiever, Omar Mora, a medical doctor in real-life, had to push the envelope further by earning his Hollywood triple-threat status with 30 Days With My Brother, an independent film he wrote, produced and stars in.  A poignant drama starring Mora and Adrián Núñez, tells the story of two estranged brothers who reunite after a 17-year separation, but struggle to get beyond the tragedy that tore them apart.

30 Days With My Brother also stars Stefy Garcia, Evelyn Michelle, Amy Schloerb and Enrique Fosse and is written by Mora and produced by Moras Productions and M&F Entertainment.

Asked why he chose to write about a brother relationship as his first feature film, Mora stated that it was because of the bond of two brothers. “It’s the perfect love,” he explained, “in the sense that no matter where they are or how old they are or what happened between them, brothers will love and protect each other to the end.”

Mora co-stars with Puerto Rican actor-producer, Adrián Núñez, who is known for Spiral (2013), Threshold (2009), and Un-Broke: What You Need to Know About Money (2009).

30 Days is the first film from the Caribbean island to get national distribution by AMC Independent, a program that exhibits independent films to engage and inspire audiences, while giving distribution to indie filmmakers. This film is also being distributed in Puerto Rico by Caribbean Cinemas.
