State University Fresno sides with Professor who said of Barbara Bush ‘Happy the witch is dead’

California State University, Fresno has concluded that English professor Randa Jarrar didn’t violate school policies in regards to statements made after Former First Lady, Barbara Bursh passed away on April 17, 2018.  Jarrar called Mrs. Bush an  “amazing racist and that Jarrar was “happy the witch is dead.”

Fresno State President Joseph I. Castro stated that Jarrar’s behavior was, ” “Professor Jarrar’s conduct was insensitive, inappropriate, and an embarrassment to the university,” the university president noted, but went on to state the professor’s conduct “did not violate any CSU or university policies and that she was acting in a private capacity and speaking about a public matter on her personal Twitter account.” The Daily Signal.

“Professor Jarrar will remain on leave through the Spring semester, which she had previously requested before this incident,” continued Castro. The Daily Signal

The Daily Caller attempted to conduct a spokesman for the University but thus far their attempts have been unsuccessful.

If I were a parent of a student at that school, I’d do my best to be sure that my child didn’t attend class with such a “professor.”
