Supriya Pande and Sangam Pant are presenting sponsors of the 14th Annual Denim Diamonds & Stars, a red-carpet evening to raise funds for Autism Care Today (ACT Today), the nation’s
leading autism nonprofit organization providing help and support to children with autism and their families. The event is Sunday, October 6 at the Four Seasons Westlake Village (2 Dole Dr., Westlake Village) and is honoring Doreen Granpeesheh with the Visionary Award.
Sangam Pant most recently served as managing partner of the Center for Autism and Related Disorders (CARD) prior to his retirement. CARD, with offices in 253 locations in 33 states, offers comprehensive and cutting-edge curricula that can be tailored to the specific needs of individuals with autism from birth to 21 years of age.

Denim, Diamonds & Stars includes a cocktail reception, silent and live auctions, live entertainment, gourmet dinner catered by Four Seasons’ award-winning chefs and special tributes to 2019 ACT Today honorees. MC for the evening is Mark Steines, actor, comedian and entertainment industry television journalist.
This year’s honorees are Doreen Granpeesheh, founder, Autism Care Today and founder and CEO of CARD (Visionary Award), Erin Murphy, autism activist and autism parent (Golden Cowgirl Award) and Nancy Alspaugh-Jackson, Autism Care Today executive director emeritus (Legacy Award). Â
Since it began in 2005, ACT Today has helped more than 1,500 families around the county that have children with autism and has distributed over $1.85 million in grants. Denim, Diamonds & Stars is its annual fundraiser.
