Suspect Arrested After Committing a Battery at PJ’s Pub and Grill in Thousand Oaks
generic times; font-size: 16px;”>On Tuesday, sick June 03, 2014, at approximately 6:45 in the evening, a disagreement quickly escalated to a violent confrontation between 23 year old Thousand Oaks resident Jesse Garcia (23 yrs.) and a 32 year old male victim from the city of Los Angeles. The incident began inside the bar area of PJ’s Pub and Grill, located at 417 East Avenida De Los Arboles in the city of Thousand Oaks. Garcia eventually followed the victim to the rear parking lot of the business and used closed fists to strike the victim. As a result, the victim sustained serious injuries that were initially considered life-threatening. The victim’s status has since been upgraded to stable condition and he currently remains hospitalized.
On Thursday June 05, 2014, Ventura County Sheriff’s Office investigators located and arrested Garcia for committing the battery. Garcia was transported to the Ventura County Pre-Trial Detention Facility where he was booked for 243(d) PC – Battery causing serious bodily injury. Garcia’s bail was set at $40,000.00.
