Suspect arrested for burglary of local marijuana dispensary in Ojai

During the evening hours of 11/17/2020, Ojai patrol deputies responded to an audible burglary alarm in the 400 block of Bryant Circle at Ojai Greens, a local marijuana dispensary in Ojai. Ojai patrol deputies arrived to the scene and observed Jason Brouwer entering and exiting the business.

Ojai patrol deputies quickly established a perimeter and took Brouwer into custody without incident. Evidence at the scene established a commercial burglary had occurred at the location and an undisclosed amount of property was recovered.

Brouwer was transported to the Pre-Trial Detention Facility where he was booked for PC 459- Burglary and is scheduled for arraignment on 12/3/20.
