On 06/17/20, detectives located and arrested (S) Robert Bowe for assault with a deadly weapon upon his parents.
On 6/16/20, Robert Bowe assaulted his parents with a knife in an unprovoked attack in the unincorporated area of Oak View. Bowe fled the residence prior to the deputies’ arrival.
Deputies spent hours searching the surrounding area but were unsuccessful in locating Bowe.
On 6/17/20, at approximately 6:55 PM, detectives located Bowe at a residence in the 8700 block of Nye Road in the unincorporated area of Casitas Springs. Bowe was taken into custody without incident and was booked into the Pre-Trial Detention Facility for two felony counts of Penal Code section 245(a)(1) – Assault with a Deadly Weapon and one count of PC 368(b)(1) – Elder Abuse. Bowe’s bail was set at $160,000 and he is scheduled to appear today in Ventura County Superior Court.
