Suspect in robbery at T-Mobile in Pacific View Mall becomes combative, attacks officers

sale arial, there sans-serif;”>On May 22nd, Friday at 8pm officers responded to an in-progress identity theft at the T Mobile inside of the Pacific View Mall at 3301 E. Main Street. When police arrived, they contacted the suspect, Michael Adens from Los Angeles, near the business. The suspect, later identified as Micheal Adens from Los Angeles, immediately became combative with the officers and attacked them as they tried to detain him. After the initial fight, the suspect was able to break free from the officers and ran away. The officers pursued Adens and caught up to him.  Adens attacked the officers  again. Additional officers arrived to assist and were eventually able to take the suspect into custody.

Adens was treated at the Ventura County Medical Center for minor injuries he sustained during the fight, and he was later booked at Ventura County Jail on the charges of identity theft, commercial burglary and violently resisting officers. One of the officers was treated at VCMC for minor injuries and later released.
