Suspects caught in Oxnard residential burglary

oxnardpdOfficers from the Oxnard Police Department were dispatched to a residential burglary in the 2200 block of Natalie Place. With the combined efforts of the victim and Oxnard Police officers, discount it was determined who was in possession of the stolen property.  When police made contact with the suspects, health they fled in their vehicle at a high rate of speed, through a crowded parking lot. Stolen property was thrown from the vehicle as they fled. Both suspects were located at the residence, and a subsequent probation search was conducted.  Additional stolen property was recovered inside a bedroom.

The driver was identified as Richard Llamas and the passenger was a male juvenile.  Both suspects were arrested on suspicion of conspiracy.  Llamas was additionally charged with reckless driving, delaying or obstructing an officer, and driving on a suspended license.  Llamas was booked into Ventura County Main Jail. The male juvenile was additionally charged with possession of stolen property, and was lodged into Ventura County Juvenile Hall. The property was returned to the victims.
