SVPD Narcs Bust Another Dealer: Cocaine, Ecstasy and Cash Seized: Dealer Jailed

On March 11, nurse 2015, here Narcotics Detectives from the Simi Valley Police Department’s Special Operations Unit completed a two month long investigation into the sales of cocaine in Ventura and Los Angeles Counties with the arrest of Guillermo Mancillas. 20 yrs old, cure from Winnetka, CA. Narcotics Detactives obtained a search warrant for Mancillas’ vehicle and residence. Assisted by members of the Special Enforcement Section, they contacted Mancillas in the 16800 Block of Devonshire Street in Porter Ranch. A search of his vehicle resulted in the seizure of 1200 Ecstasy tablets, packaged and ready for sale.

During the search of Mancillas’ residence in the 20000 Block of Community Street in Winnetka, Detectives located 200 additional Ecstasy tablets, 36 grams of cocaine, 22 grams of MDMA powder, and over $3,000 in suspected narcotics proceeds. Mancillas was arrested and booked at the Ventura County Sheriff’s Office East County Jail Facility for the following:

11351 H&S: Possession of a Narcotics Controlled Substance for Sale (Cocaine)
11352 H&S: Sales of a Narcotic Controlled Substance (Cocaine)
11378 H&S: Possession of a Controlled Substance for Sale (Ecstasy)

The Simi Valley Police Department Special Operations Unit will continue to conduct investigations to stem the flow of controlled substances in the city.
