Our county’s broken piggy bank

By Carla Bonney

Well, we continue the battle in our attempt to “reign in” out-of-control public pension in our County.  I personally want to thank all of you that have helped in this fight by getting signatures from your friends and returning them to me.

If you haven’t done this yet, please contact me and I will send you as few as 1 form (7 signatures if you can do it), or as many as 50 forms…But commit to at least one please.  This is a very expensive process-insuring our rights as citizens to reassess when we have our tax money being spent.  This is a precious right.  So, please get involved in helping us bring this to a vote of the people.   My email address is [email protected] Drop me a note along with your mailing address.  I will get sheet(s) out to you right away.

Along the same line, the great taxpayer advocate group in Ventura County Taxpayer Association is not only pushing this initiative drive, but they have a impressive speaker coming to town on Thursday April 3rd at 11:30.  You are all invited to the luncheon!

This link gives you all the information.  Please let me know if you have questions about this.
