Ventura Police Department – Incident Press Release
On August 22 at 5:53 PM the Ventura Police Command Center received a 911 call of a shooting that just occurred at 3700 Dean Dr. Officers arrived at the scene and found a male juvenile suffering from a gunshot wound. Officers immediately started first aid and were soon assisted by Ventura City Firefighters and AMR Paramedics who also arrived quickly to help. The juvenile was transported to a local hospital.
There is no further information at this time. The investigation is continuing, and any calls reference the incident are directed to Detective Sergeant Matt Cain at 805-339-4488.
