The Biden Admin Is Seething Over One Particular Twitter Account

The Biden administration is seething over an opposition research Twitter account run by the Republican National Committee that draws attention to President Joe Biden’s public gaffes, according to Politico.

The RNC Research account shares videos of Biden, White House staffers and prominent Democrats which paint them in a negative light as part of the Republican Party’s messaging strategy. Democratic strategists have accused the account of lying and view it as the most toxic account on Twitter, according to Politico.

“SUPERCUT: 2 minutes of Joe Biden promising middle-class Americans would not pay ‘a penny more in taxes’ under his administration. He lied,” the RNC Research account tweeted Saturday along with a video of Biden making that claim on numerous occasions.

“It’s like they handed the keys over to some nihilist teenage shitposters who wanted to see how fast they could get reporters to discount everything they say,” a Biden campaign alum told Politico. “They think crowing about intentionally lying makes them tough when it really just worsens the feedback loop.”

The account has drawn attention to economic woes under Biden’s leadership, possible crimes committed by his son Hunter Biden, his frequent vacations and verbal gaffes that raise questions about his mental fitness.

“Did Joe Biden just announce he has cancer?” the account asked after Biden said “that’s why I and so many damn other people I grew up with have cancer” while discussing his exposure to oil slicks in an apparent slip-up in July. Biden had non-melanoma skin cancers removed before he was president.

The account recently shared a flashback post of a 2019 speech in which Biden said “poor kids are just as bright and just as talented as white kids” in another apparent gaffe.

“After ending a week in COVID isolation, Joe Biden immediately leaves for a vacation at his Delaware beach home,” RNC Research wrote alongside a video of Biden boarding a helicopter Aug. 7.

RNC Research appears to view the Politico article as an achievement, and used a screenshot of the Politico headline “The White House’s least favorite Twitter account” as its new header image.

“If only the Biden White House and Democrats were focused on real issues instead of spending their day whining about an RNC Twitter account,” RNC spokesperson Emma Vaughn told Politico. “Do your jobs.”

“We are so sorry this is happening to you, @WhiteHouse,” the RNC Research account tweeted in response to the article.

The RNC did not immediately respond to the Daily Caller News Foundation’s request for comment.

This story has been updated with comment from the Republican National Committee.

Actually I feel sorry for Joe. Imagine being thrust into a position where every one of your shortcomings are exposed to the entire world to view and comment on. How degrading! It’s a good thing, in my view, for Joe’s fragile mental health to not recognize the ridicule and contempt that is felt for the most powerful office in the world that is occupied by a dementia patient who is probably a 5 or 6 on a 7 scale of dementia. Why is anybody even talking about another four years? Joe is likely to have a guardian ad litem appointed before he reaches the end of this term let alone another four.

Think about the last election. A demented old man and a megalomaniac. Is that the best of the country? Are there no better candidates or does the office require such? Do we need someone who is demented in order to want to run? Do we need a megalomaniac who is so self-important he can’t stand someone who has a different opinion? I am in favor of a non-politician running for office. Too many folks who reach the stage where they can be considered a viable candidate owe their souls to the party or to various money groups who control the party.

I thought Ross Perot would have made an outstanding president. Unfortunately, we see what happens when an outsider gains that office. The constant sniping at Trump was dismaying. Even Harry Truman when he fired that arrogant popinjay MacArthur didn’t have the constant sniping that Trump had all during his campaign and especially after his surprise win when the headlines were all ready, “Hillary Wins In A Landslide”.
