The Box Office Numbers for ‘Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom’ Are Out Of Control

David Hookstead | Reporter

“Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom” is expected to keep raking in cash now that the movie has been released in America.

The Hollywood Reporter reported:

Prerelease tracking suggests that Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom will debut to $130 million to $140 million in North America. That compares to a mega-debut of $208.8 million for Jurassic World in summer 2015, which, like Star Wars: The Force Awakens, benefited from pent-up demand for a franchise that had long been absent from the big screen.

Jurassic World 2, from Universal and Amblin, has already earned more than $435 million overseas, where it began rolling out two weeks ago.

Do you hear that sound-off in the distance? That is the cash cow just mooing its way all the way to the bank. Universal must be so happy that “Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom” is just making it rain money from the sky. (RELATED: THE BOX OFFICE NUMBERS FOR ‘JURASSIC WORLD: FALLEN KINGDOM’ ARE SICKENING)

There is a billion-percent chance that I see this movie at some point this weekend. A billion-percent chance! I hope Chris Pratt negotiates the hell out of his next contract because he deserves so much money. I don’t know who he’s trusting to put these deals together, but they better be getting him paid a bunch of money.

His film has brought in over $400 million overseas and is going to tack on at least another $100 million this weekend. That’s what I think people like call winning!
