The Collection at RiverPark, Raw Inspiration to launch weekly Farmer’s Market, June 18

The Collection at RiverPark, will introduce a weekly Farmer’s Market launching Thursday, June 18.

The new market will run every Thursday from 4-8 p.m. in Park View Court. In addition to selling freshly picked fruits and vegetables grown by a dozen local farmers, consumers will have the opportunity to shop prepared and prepackaged foods, flower vendors, and hand-crafted goods, while enjoying live music and face painting.

The Farmer’s Market is being brought to the community through a partnership with California Certified Farmers Markets, in conjunction with the non-profit organization, Raw Inspiration.

“After more than two years of planning, we are thrilled to introduce the new Farmer’s Market to the community with the help of Raw Inspiration,” said Erica Boatman-Dixon, Director of Marketing for The Collection. “We are so blessed to live in an agriculturally rich community and are proud to deliver healthy, quality crops to share with families from the trusted farmers who help make the industry thrive.”

Food_Farmers_Market_VegetablesAbout Raw Inspiration
Raw Inspiration’s mission is to educate children and adults on the importance of a healthy diet, especially on the importance of eating fresh fruits and vegetables daily. To accompany that mission, we have set up a program where growers can distribute their produce at neighborhood farmers markets. Many of the schools in our program are in areas close to the farmers markets where there is a real need to not only grow fresh fruits and vegetables, but to also have a distribution system set up where the schools and growers can choose to market their produce.
