Oxnard, CA – The Oxnard Convention & Visitors Bureau (OCVB) has made changes to its leadership team.
Brittney Hendricks has been promoted from Marketing & Communications Coordinator to Director of Marketing and Communications. Before joining the OCVB, Hendricks was a Technical Editor/Writer for MRS Environmental Inc. in Santa Barbara. In addition, she worked in online marketing for Performance Unlimited Inc. in Oxnard and Move.com/Realtor.com in Westlake. Hendricks is also a former Laker Girl, for the Los Angeles Lakers. She recently was appointed to the Board of Directors for the Central Coast Tourism Council and CalTravel’s Homelessness Task Force Committee. Her educational background includes a Bachelor of Sciences degree in Business Administration with an Emphasis in Marketing from Chapman University.
Courtney Freeman has joined the OCVB as Group Sales Manager. Prior to joining the Bureau, Freeman served as Director of National Sales for Elite Status Group where she generated corporate business from eastern and southeastern regions. Before that, she was National Sales Manager for Palms Casino Resort, managing the corporate accounts and sales operations for the property. Her sales experience also encompasses positions with Tropicana Las Vegas and Westgate Las Vegas Hotel & Casino. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management from the University of Nevada.
