As everyone is busily hanging on every word the media gushes over us about the Chinese virus, we are so taken in by the reports, updated hourly, that most everyone has lost sight of what is taking place behind the nebulous curtain of news and psycho-babble.
China, however, has not lost sight of their objectives for even one moment. Virus or no virus—China has kept up pressure on Hong Kong, depriving the insular city of its freedom. China’s puppet government in Hong Kong still enforces with draconian strength the rules against the protests and imprisons the voices calling for freedom and independence from the Communist Mainland.
Pressure and coercion is also relentlessly employed against Taiwan. Communist China will never allow this precious, rich morsel to stay independent. As the world watches America commit economic stupidities, China patrols the South China Sea and related waters, keeping Japan, South Korea, Malaysia—the entire region in constant visceral discomfort.
Meanwhile, here in the U. S., the voices that have loudly warned against China’s Trojan Horse war against the United States, are finally being heard. Senator Ted Cruze, one of the loudest voices railing against the Communist takeover, was on the Fox Channel this morning Sunday, May 3, 2020, with Maria Bartiromo. Both, Bartiromo and Cruze advocate that China needs to be held accountable for endangering millions of people around the world for their own advantage, a view also held by many other politicians and the President.
The discussion centered around China’s stealing millions of military secrets right here in the country through insertion of students and researchers employed by universities and military research, who are wholly indebted to the Communist regime and report every detail of newly discovered military knowledge. They pointed out that Chinese Lobby groups are inserted throughout our businesses, universities and research facilities. For example, all of newly discovered cancer research has gone straight to China. Another case in point, is China’s unholy alliance with Hollywood, where the Chinese have the absurd power of censoring the content of movies made for American audiences.
That amount of influence is not the most worrying part of the Chinese Trojan Horse dilemma, it is the veritable nest of China-compromised Senators and Congressmen wielding power in Washington. Foremost, I want to mention Senator Dianne Feinstein, who according to FBI records, employed for twenty years a Chinese national, who spied for the Communist government. He reported on Feinstein’s movements and picked up morsels on her activities while he worked for her at her San Francisco office. Feinstein’s warm relations with China go back decades, as Real Clear Politics reports, and are more insidious, involving millions, perhaps billions of dollars. All this happened when the Senator was the former chair of the Senate Sitting Select Committee on Intelligence. Wow!
Feinstein was so taken in with all things Chinese, that she is known for the following quote.
“I sometimes say that in my last life maybe I was Chinese.” Senator Dianne Feinstein. She is only one of many Washington politicians benefitting from business association with the Chinese. My number two classic example is Obama Vice President Joe Biden, the man running for the Presidency. As vice president he did not only provide million-dollar-profitable connections for son Hunter with the Ukrainian company Burisma, he also connected Hunter with very profitable associations to Chinese state-owned banks. This occurred when Jo Biden was leading the Obama administration’s policies for Ukraine and China. A fine example of nepotism.
What will the hapless, virus-ridden American public think, now that they are fully aware of China’s duplicity in allowing their virus to spread all over the globe? I could cite many more politicians deeply involved in the big China-Cozy, benefiting greatly from Chinese largess, working to protect and grow Chinese interests through Chinese lobbying groups. However, there is another worrisome topic I must mention. As China covered the globe with their communication systems, mostly through Huawei company, they have built a wonderful spy-system for themselves. There are no independent companies in China. All commerce is interwoven with the surveillance systems of the Communist party and so we now find ourselves in the unenviable position of being unable to share military and business secrets with partners, like England, because Britain has instituted a Huawei communications system, as have other European countries, although the U. S. government warned that they would be vulnerable to almost total security breach. We are being warned!
Yet, I am not holding my breaths until I see the warnings from cautious politicians being headed in the months to come.
