Thelma Hansen Fund Competitive Grant Program Call for Proposals

The Thelma Hansen Fund (THF) is a University of California (UC) endowment that supports and maintains University research and extension activities for the sustainability and benefit of agriculture and natural resources in Ventura County.

Proposals are requested for research, education and extension/outreach projects addressing Ventura County needs. Proposals have to align with at least one of the UC Division of Agriculture and Natural Resources Strategic Initiatives and address one or more of the THF goals. Ventura County priorities are listed on Page 3 of the Request for Proposals.

The call is open to UC and non-UC researchers, educators, federal, state, and local public agencies, non-profit organizations, consultants, resource conservation districts, commodity research boards, growers and other interested parties.

The deadline for proposal submission is Friday, February 14, 2020 at 11:59 p.m. PST. Please note that the RFP and form have been revised from last year and include additional requirements.
