“This Year’s Wings Over Camarillo Airshow is BETTER than ever with NEW EXCITING Features and Attractions!”

Camarillo, CA – California Aeronautical University is proud to present “Wings Over Camarillo” (WOC) on August 18th – 19th, 2018. Wings over Camarillo Airshow, Car Show and Festival will feature aerial performances, military aircraft displays, classic cars and live entertainment. Come take a flight with KidsSTREAM Children Museum. Children can experience Drones and UAV’s fly, see robotics in action, build a Lego airport, learn how airplanes fly, build and test fly airplanes. Come see the World War II Reenactment camp featuring military support vehicles and a nurse’s unit, an enhanced STEM Pavilion with local school robotic teams competing for prizes, and a hands-on kids zone.

WOC will honor those who helped keep us safe with the theme for 2018, “A Special Tribune to Firefighters”. There will be all-day entertainment brought to you by Rock City Studios, with performances by the Spazmatics, and a variety of food trucks and Hangar 24 Beer available. For easy access to the different events and happenings at the events, an expanded tram service will be provided within the grounds.

Airshow acts include Vampire Jet, the world’s first single engine fighter jet. Experienced flyers Vicky Benzing, John Collver, and a local favorite, Judy Phelps. Tim Just and Sammy Mason will return to this year’s airshow lineup.

 

All net profits from “Wings Over Camarillo” will go to participating non-profit groups that promote science and aviation, furthering the education of Ventura County youth through leadership and service. Over the past eight years the CWA has donated $321,340 to local non-profits.
