Updated Boil Water Advisory 12/7/2017

Ventura Water customers were notified to boil their water as a precautionary measure on 12/5/17.  As of 12/7/2017, in specific areas of our water service area (see map below), it is no longer necessary to boil your water.  However, the Boil Water Advisory is still in effect for certain portions of the City.  These areas are specified below and identified on the map below We anticipate the Boil Advisory will be rescinded citywide in 48-72 hours.  We apologize for any inconvenience and thank you for your patience.

The areas in the City of Ventura that still need to boil their water are designated in Red on the map and bounded by the following streets moving east to west:

  1. North of Foothill Road
  2. West of Ashwood Avenue
  3. North of Telegraph Road
  4. West of Mills Road
  5. North of E. Main Street / Thompson Blvd

West of Sanjon Road

Curfew in City of Ventura

The City of Ventura has declared a curfew in response to the Thomas Fire Incident. Effective December 5, 2017 a curfew is in effect starting at 10:00 p.m. and ending at 5:00 a.m. daily. The curfew is in effect until no longer necessary. During this curfew time no person shall be upon the public street, avenue, alley, park, or other public place or unimproved public realty within the entire jurisdictional limits of the City. This curfew is put in place to protect all residents of the City of Ventura and to prevent crime such as looting in evacuation areas. The City would like to thank all residents for their cooperation.
