Thousand Oaks Man Pleads Guilty To Voluntary Manslaughter

VENTURA, California – District Attorney Erik Nasarenko announced today that Christopher Schneider (DOB 11/22/88), of Thousand Oaks, has pled guilty to felony voluntary manslaughter of his mother, Nancy Schneider. Schneider also admitted using a knife in the commission of the crime.

On February 4, 2020, Schneider fatally stabbed his mother, at the Schneider family residence in Thousand Oaks.

Schneider will be sentenced on August 10, 2021, at 9:00 a.m. in courtroom 12 of the Ventura County Superior Court. Schneider remains in custody at the Ventura County Jail.
