The Thousand Oaks Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance regarding a road rage incident.
On 04/26/21, between the hours of 10:45 p.m. and 10:50 p.m., a significant “road rage” incident occurred in the area spanning from East Hillcrest Drive and Erbes Road through the general area surrounding the Janss Marketplace in Thousand Oaks. Two light colored sedans were involved in this incident, with one chasing after the other. It was learned these vehicles ran several red lights including at the intersection of East Hillcrest Drive and North Moorpark Road, while other vehicles were traversing the intersection.
The Thousand Oaks Police Department is asking anyone who might have witnessed this incident to please contact Detective JD Eisenhard at (805) 494-8224. Anyone wishing to remain anonymous is asked to call Crime Stoppers at (800) 222-8477.
