    Three Oxnard teens carjack driver at gunpoint

    On February 27, 2019 at about 9:23 a.m. officers responded to Courtland Street near Canterbury Way, regarding a report of a carjacking. The driver told police that he was parking his vehicle, when three teens approached him and demanded his car keys and money. One of the teens was holding a gun. The carjackers then took off in the victim’s car, which was a 2004 Honda Odyssey Minivan.

    The teen with the gun was a Hispanic male, 12-14 years old, 5’0” to 5’3”, 100 lbs. He was described as having a thin face and wearing a black checkered hooded sweatshirt. The other teens were also described as Hispanic males, 12-14 years of age, 5’0” to 5’3”, 100 lbs. One of them was wearing dark blue sweatshirt.
