The Oxnard Police Department is investigating a traffic collision at the intersection of Third Street at Rose Avenue involving a semi-trailer truck that turned over onto its side.
The preliminary investigation revealed that the semi-trailer truck was making a turning movement in the intersection when it turned over onto its side. No other vehicles are believed to have been involved in the traffic collision, and injuries are minor.
Traffic is blocked on Rose Avenue from Eastman Avenue to Santa Lucia Avenue and is diverted to Fifth Street from Rose Avenue. Additionally, traffic is heavy for both the Northbound/Southbound Rose Avenue corridor and Eastbound/Westbound Third Street. An update will go out when the traffic collision has cleared.
