Ventura City Fire and AMR EMS along with CHP units were dispatched to a report of a traffic collision with injuries and persons trapped. Emergency personnel responded and arrived to find a single vehicle down an embankment with major damage. It was determined that three occupants were in the vehicle and needed extrication and EMS by rescuers. 2 male passengers (unknown ages) suffered moderate injuries and were transported to Ventura County Medical Center for further evaluation and treatment. A third male occupant (unknown age) was pronounced deceased at the scene. CHP and Ventura County Coroner personnel are investigating the cause.
