Ventura Police Department – Incident Press Release
On September 28th at 7:35 AM the Ventura Police Department Command Center received a call from a victim reporting that his work trailer had been stolen sometime during the night from a construction site in the 2700 block of Golf Course Dr. A patrol officer responded and through the investigation she identified a suspect vehicle using video surveillance from the area.
The officer later identified a possible suspect, and requested the Ventura County Sheriff’s Department assist by responding to a residence in the 200 block of Boardman Rd. in Ojai in an attempt to locate the stolen trailer. The suspect, later identified as Bradley Todd, was detained by sheriff deputies. The officer responded and at the conclusion of the investigation, he was arrested for unlawful taking of a vehicle.
Todd directed the officer to the location of the stolen trailer which was located a short distance away from his residence. The victim responded and recovered the trailer.
