Two cases-Two defendants: Both ordered to pay restitution to their elderly victims

The defendant previously pled guilty to a violation of Penal Code section 368(e) for stealing items belonging to the elderly couple while she was employed as their caretaker between May 2012 and August 2013. Items stolen included unique jewelry, Belgian handmade lace, and ivory tusk carvings that were gifts the victims received for their work in Ghana.

The defendant is currently on a grant of 36 months formal probation. She is scheduled to appear in courtroom 37 on December 9, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. for a review of her progress.
