Two medical cannabis dispensaries approved in Port Hueneme

The Port Hueneme City Council at the October 16, 2017 meeting approved two medicinal cannabis dispensaries to provide medicianl cannabis to people that have a doctor’s prescription. The start dates will be decided when all requirements the cannabis ordinance mandate are in place by the dispensaries and verified by the City.

The two dispensaries approved are 1) Hueneme Patient Consurmer Co-op to be located at 501 West Channel Island Blvd in the Hardy Moll Building 2) Freedom First Association to be located in the 99 cent shopping center on Ventura Blvd. The approval of each dispensary is accompanied with a host of requirements to protect nearby properties and the community at large.
