Two Oxnard teens shot, one seriously

crime.stopFriday night officers from the Oxnard Police Department responded to two calls involving gunshots and juvenile victims.

At approximately 9pm officers from the Oxnard Police Department responded to the 1300 block of North “H” street reference a shooting victim. Once on scene, officers located a 16 year old Oxnard resident suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. The victim was transported to the Ventura County Medical Center and is listed in stable condition with non-life threatening wounds.

Officers were able to locate evidence of the shooting in Eastwood Park at 1401 North “F” Street. The suspects are still at large and were seen wearing dark clothing and fleeing the area on foot.

A second victim was shot shortly after 10pm. Officers responded to the call in the area of Courtland Street and Clara Street. They located a 15 year old Hispanic male with a gunshot wound to his back. The victim was rushed to the Ventura County Medical Center and is listed in serious but stable condition.
